A Fine Arts graduate from Elam (Auckland University), Veronica Manchego’s (*1983, Venezuela) practice centers on the intersection of technology and humanity. Her piece, “Embrace of the Tide”, is a compelling meditation on how our identities evolve in an automated age. The work explores the blurry boundary between the digital memories we store and the raw, physical touch of human experience. Manchego’s thought-provoking work was recently exhibited at Almost There, Berlin.
