Jonas Paul Spieker (*1996, Germany) studied Product Design at the Berlin University of the Arts. His work explores process as a creative medium, questioning how formal decisions are made and to what extent authorship can be shifted away from the designer. By developing systems in which predefined rules and chance generate visual outcomes, he investigates the relationship between intention, control, and unpredictability. Working across drawing and object-based practice, his work focuses less on designing final forms than on designing the conditions from which they emerge.
