Lukas Moll’s “Untitled” holds onto a moment just as it slips away — a blurred figure hovering between presence and disappearance, there and almost gone in the same breath. Moll (*1993, Germany) builds the work around that threshold: the blur isn’t vagueness so much as the texture of memory itself, the way an almost-remembered moment refuses to hold still long enough to be looked at directly. What’s left is the feeling of the figure rather than the figure — a presence you sense more than see. Recently exhibited at Kunstmuseum Albstadt.
